**Job Description for Area Sales Executive / Area Sales Manager**
**Job Title**: Area Sales Executive / Area Sales Manager (FMCG)
**Location**: Kanpur, Prayagraj, Lucknow
**Department**: Sales
**Reports to**: Sales Head
**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts.
- Identify new business opportunities and increase product reach within the area.
- Monitor and ensure effective implementation of trade marketing activities and promotional campaigns.
- Conduct regular market visits to assess product performance, competitor activity, and market trends.
- Ensure availability, visibility, and merchandising of products in retail outlets.
- Negotiate with channel partners for better product placement and visibility.
- Handle distributor management - including stock planning, order processing, and payment follow-up.
- Provide timely and accurate reports on sales, inventory, and competition.
- Collaborate with the marketing and supply chain teams to ensure smooth execution of go-to-market strategies.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/ MBA, Marketing, or a related field Preferred.
- 8-15 years of experience in FMCG sales or distribution management.
- Strong knowledge of the local market and distribution channels.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and sales reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
- MBA
**Preferred Skills**:
- Familiarity with FMCG product lines such as food & beverages, personal care, or household products.
- Experience working with rural and urban retail channels.
- Fluency in Hindi [local language] is a plus.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹33,987.08 per month
