**Job Summary**

As a Business Intelligence Architect, you'll architect, design, and implement complex BI solutions with a keen focus on the healthcare and wellbeing industry. Your SQL skills will play a significant role in data manipulation and delivery, and your extensive experience with PowerBI will be vital for creating BI tools and reports. This role will also help build out and govern the PowerBI Center of Excellence (COE) to support teams with their internal reporting and current external reporting offered by HealthComp during migration to other tools.

**Essential Functions/Responsibilities/Duties**
- Leverage SQL for advanced data manipulation, development, and delivery.
- Convert business requirements into robust, functional BI solutions.
- Guide and collaborate with various stakeholders, understanding their data needs and ensuring fulfillment.
- Maintain and ensure data integrity and consistency across all BI reports and tools.
- Help build, support, and govern the PowerBI Center of Excellence (COE), focusing on governance, licensing, architecture, design, integrated semantic layer, security, and scalability.
- Promote democratized and self-service report development across the organization.

**Supervisory Responsibility**
- Potentially manage 1-2 team members within the PowerBI COE.

**Education and Experience**
- 6-7 years of experience in business intelligence or a related field.
- Bachelor's Degree or related equivalent experience

**Requirements**:
**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Expert understanding of SQL for advanced data manipulation and development.
- Expert understanding of DW concepts
- Expert understanding of data modeling and data architecture concepts.
- Master-level knowledge of Power BI including model management, scalability, governance and licensing
- Advanced knowledge of SSAS and SSRS or Power BI Report Server
- Advanced knowledge of DAX and proven ability to write efficient and optimized DAX queries
- Proven experience in delivering enterprise-level BI solutions, using Power BI and/or SSAS (DAX or MDX)
- Knowledge of an additional BI Tool (MicroStrategy, Tableau or similar)

PL-300 Certificate or higher (optional)
- Ability to promote and support democratized and self-service report development.
- Comprehensive understanding of data integration processes and ETL principles.
- In-depth expertise with Snowflake or similar.
- Profound understanding of AWS cloud services.
- Proficient with AWS services like S3, Athena.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Deep knowledge of the healthcare and wellbeing industry.
