**Responsibilities**:
As a part of Pixxel’s satellite production group, you will be responsible for the mechanical assembly, integration, testing and validation of the spacecraft components.

You’ll implement assembly and integration sequences, execute test plans and work closely with designers to perform component and system level tests at various stages of spacecraft integration.

You’ll also be responsible for the operation of various testing and monitoring equipment used during the process of spacecraft assembly, integration and testing.

You will be expected to operate basic machining tools - such as drill, lathe, mill etc - to fabricate essential mechanical jigs and fixtures required for satellite production processes.

You’ll be responsible of overseeing the storage and handling of all the components of the spacecraft, and maintaining the production areas where such materials are handled including the electronics labs, cleanroom work areas as well as the storage systems.

You will be expected to work in extended time schedules as directed by the production manager, to whom you shall report to, during each work day which may be at the Pixxel facility or any other partner facility.

You’ll assist engineers on drafting as well as optimising test plans & procedures, and develop spacecraft and equipment operating procedures for the safe, efficient and reliable operation of the systems, during all phases of spacecraft assembly, integration, testing, operations, in various environments including inside labs, cleanrooms and test facilities.

Basic Qualifications and Experience

ITI or Diploma in Mechanical and related discipline.

5+ years Experience working hands-on with projects that involve assembly, integration and testing of highly critical and complex systems such as spacecrafts, satellite systems etc.

Certification from organisations like ISRO for Mechanical or AIT handling and workmanship. Certification in Space grade machining and fabrication would be a bonus.

Skills / Requirements

Proficient in using MS office (word, excel, powerpoint)

Language requirement: English (Fluent)

**Salary**: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
