We are looking to hire a Hair Care Product Designer in our B&W South Asia team based in Mumbai:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The job will lead all the R&D interventions for product development & regulatory compliance for Hair for south Asia Cluster.- Drive and Deliver NPD projects, partnering with the key business stakeholders. To lead product development to ensure compliant products in close coordination with Global R&D and ensure deployment on time. Key R&D deliverables - Product and process development, pilot scale trials, stability trials, Main Plant trials, Specification management, competitor monitoring.- Work closely with other stakeholders & ensure all R&D technical compliance, work with SEAC on consumer safety clearance, with brand, supply chain, quality on networks to land innovations on time.- Develop savings ideas in close working with categories and implement these within agreed R&D framework.- Leverage category Maximising technology impact toolkit for adaptation in Hair B&W portfolio- Develop and maintain close connection with GDC and RDCs for B&W- Drive rigor, risk assessment & mitigation, safety during projects delivery.- Responsible for project execution in line with the best practices; Manage expectations of key stakeholders by providing regular feedback on project progress.- Will be a R&D business partner for Hair projects and will work with category R&D teams.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience- Postgraduate - B Tech/ M Tech in chemical Engineering or cosmetic technology- Project management skills and good stakeholder management- Good Verbal/written Communication skills- Category knowledge in cosmetics will be beneficial.- Dealing with people from multicultural backgrounds.- Multi-tasking ability- Ability to work independently with Cross-functional team members.- Travelling will be required.- Agility and speed of response.- Flexibility, Resilience and learning from experience.- Strong business understanding
