They must also maintain equipment, ensure safety protocols are followed, and perform quality checks to meet specifications.

Key Responsibilities
- **Blueprint Interpretation**:
Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand project requirements.
- **Material Preparation**:
Measuring, marking, cutting, and shaping sheet metal using a variety of tools, such as shears, brakes, and punches.
- **Assembly and Joining**:
Assembling fabricated components by welding, riveting, or soldering them together.
- **Machine Operation**:
Setting up and operating metalwork machinery, including rollers, drill presses, and flame cutters.
- **Quality Control**:
Inspecting finished products to ensure they are accurate, meet quality standards, and comply with design specifications.
- **Maintenance**:
Maintaining and repairing fabrication equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working order
