**Role Description**

The purpose of the Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM) function is to ensure that the banks Non-Financial Risk exposure is adequately managed in-line with the group wide risk appetite and NFRM framework. The UKI Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Coverage team governs and monitors the UKI’s NFR Profile to enable proactive oversight and risk management by senior management, including the NFR Councils, London Branch Board, and the Group NFR Committee. The team is responsible for the aggregation, quality assurance and reporting of risk, control, and event information to create a holistic NFR Profile which supports the monitoring and escalation of key risks for decision making by UKI senior management.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Assist in the organization and preparation of decision-preparing material for NFR governance meetings.
- Co-ordinate response for adhoc NFR information requests from senior management / regulators / other control functions
- Monitoring developments within Non-Financial Risk Portfolio at a business and regional level (eg loss themes, Risk Metrics, Findings/SIIs and other contextual information)
- Contribute towards initiatives to develop and enhance existing NFR reporting suite.
- Ensure that effective and demonstrable challenge to the risk owners occurs, and where required:

- Support clear, demonstrable, and risk-based challenge.
- Measure evidence of effective challenge and resolution

**Your skills and experience**
- Prior experience of working in a 2LOD team, a robust understanding of Non-Financial Risk Management principles and practices
- Confident and articulate with excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting to stakeholder audiences across different businesses.
- Calm under pressure, able to juggle complex priorities to meet immediate and unpredictable deadlines while also ensuring that longer-term projects are completed.
- Personally accountable for results and can work independently and triage questions and issues, make decisions along with judgment to escalate problems appropriately.
- Advanced user of MS Excel / Access database with experience of data aggregation and manipulation to produce meaningful MI.
