The role of an **Assistant Producer** is crucial in the production process. As an assistant producer for television or film, you will work closely with every member of the production team, including the executive producer, director, talent, technicians, editors, sound designers, and any vendors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Assisting in the creation and refinement of project concepts, briefs and other materials.
- Finding locations, sourcing contacts of talking heads/newsmakers and building relationships across partners, vendors and clients.
- Organizing production personnel, coordinating set construction, supervising lighting, sound or camera plans.
- Sourcing video segments, finding sound and visual effect references from multiple sources.
- Fact-checking and updating scripts; sourcing
- They can also be responsible for making sure video or audio segments are in the correct order for edit.
- Operational duties such as generating reports, maintaining records and status updates.

Experience & Qualifications:

- Graduate degree from a recognized university.
- 2-4 years of experience in a video production house or similar organization.
- Scripting and research skills.
- Good command over written and spoken language (English and Hindi).
- Expect to work in flexible hours including evenings and weekends where necessary.
