**Key Responsibilities**:
**Emergency Response**:

- Provide immediate medical assistance and life-saving interventions to patients in emergency situations.
- Assist in the assessment, stabilization, and treatment of patients in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Safely transport patients to healthcare facilities, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and timely delivery during transit.

**Medical Equipment Operation**:

- Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment such as defibrillators, oxygen tanks, cardiac monitors, and other necessary tools for patient stabilization.
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide necessary interventions under the direction of a licensed medical professional during transport and at the scene.

**Patient Care Documentation**:

- Accurately document patient information, including medical histories, treatments provided, and observations during emergency interventions.
- Ensure that all patient records are maintained in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.

**Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work closely with other emergency response team members, including paramedics, doctors, and nurses, to ensure efficient patient care and emergency response.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing reassurance and explaining medical procedures as necessary.

**Incident Management**:

- Respond to a variety of emergency situations, including medical, trauma, and environmental incidents.
- Participate in post-incident debriefings and assist with the review of emergency response protocols and procedures.

**Equipment and Facility Maintenance**:

- Ensure that emergency response equipment is regularly inspected, maintained, and ready for use.
- Assist in ensuring that the emergency vehicle is adequately stocked with medical supplies and equipment.

**Skills and Qualifications**:
**Education and Certifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or a related field preferred.
- Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) and/or ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) may be required depending on the location and facility.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in an emergency response or healthcare-related role is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with emergency medical equipment and patient care in urgent or critical conditions is a plus.

**Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in operating emergency medical equipment such as defibrillators, oxygen delivery systems, and monitoring devices.
- Ability to perform medical procedures such as CPR, wound care, splinting, and airway management.

**Communication Skills**:

- Excellent verbal communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations effectively.

**Physical Stamina and Dexterity**:

- Ability to lift and carry patients and medical equipment in high-pressure situations.
- Physical endurance to work long hours in challenging and fast-paced environments.

**Attention to Detail**:

- Strong observational skills and attention to detail when assessing patients and documenting their conditions.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in emergency settings.

**Teamwork**:

- Ability to work well as part of a team, following instructions while also taking initiative when required.
- Ability to adapt to dynamic situations and work collaboratively with healthcare professionals during emergencies.
