**Job Summary**
The Manager - Digital Manufacturing will support the implementation and management of digital initiatives across the organization, focusing on Industry 4.0, shop floor automation, and business development digital projects. This role includes administering the SFA tool, sound knowledge about retail sales, Influencer Loyalty Programme, FFS (Free Fitment Service), Identify Cyber Security Risk & Resolution, and other automation initiatives. The assistant will in data analysis and project coordination to ensure successful execution digital initiatives across all business functions.>
**Key Responsibilities**
**1. Logistics Operations**:
Oversee daily logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers and distribution centres.
Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to optimize logistics processes.
**2. Transportation Management**:
Manage and monitor transportation activities, including route planning, scheduling, and tracking shipments.
Negotiate contracts and rates with carriers to ensure cost-effective and reliable transportation services.
Address and resolve transportation issues and delays promptly.
**3. Warehouse Management**:
Supervise warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of goods.
Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and minimize losses.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards within the warehouse.
**4. Inventory Control**:
Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess stock.
Conduct regular inventory audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Coordinate with procurement and sales teams to align inventory levels with business needs.
**5. Performance Monitoring**:
Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics operations.
Prepare and present reports on logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
**6. Customer Service**:
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining effective communication and resolving issues promptly.
Collaborate with customer service teams to address and resolve delivery-related inquiries and complaints.
Implement customer service policies and procedures to enhance the customer experience.
**7. Team Management**:
Lead and manage logistics staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment.
Ensure adequate staffing levels and manage workforce scheduling.
**8. Compliance and Safety**:
Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Promote a culture of safety within the logistics team.
Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Leadership and team management skills.
