**Position Overview**

The Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring workplace safety and compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations. This role involves implementing safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine causes and recommend preventive measures.
- Provide safety training and awareness programs to employees.
- Maintain records of safety-related activities, including training sessions, inspections, and incident reports.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
- Recommend and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforce its proper use.
- Coordinate emergency response drills and procedures.
- Collaborate with management to develop safety improvement strategies.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in occupational health and safety, engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in safety
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and training abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and safety audits.

**Work Environment**
- May involve working in industrial, construction, or office environments.
- Requires field visits and inspections.
- May involve exposure to hazardous conditions, requiring the use of PPE.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹27,000.00 per month
