**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Sample Preparation**:

- Assist in the preparation of samples related to powder metallurgy.
- Handle raw powders and blend them using standard procedures.
- **Machine Operation**:

- Operate conventional ball milling machines as per instructions.
- Ensure proper setup, operation, and shutdown of equipment.
- **Microstructure Analysis**:

- Prepare polished and etched samples for microstructural analysis under the guidance of senior team members.
- Ensure accurate sample handling to maintain the integrity of analysis results.
- **Hydraulic Press Operations**:

- Perform hydraulic pressing of powders to create green compacts for further processing.
- Maintain proper settings and controls for desired compact density.
- **Quality Control**:

- Follow established protocols for ensuring consistent and reliable sample preparation.
- Conduct basic checks to verify the quality of outputs at each step.
- **Safety and Maintenance**:

- Adhere to safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while working.
- Assist in routine maintenance of machines to ensure smooth operations.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Basic understanding of powder metallurgy concepts.
- Familiarity with operating mechanical equipment such as ball milling machines and hydraulic presses.
- Knowledge of microstructure preparation techniques is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to standard procedures.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

**Experience**: 0-2Years
**Qualification**: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
