Introduction:

- This role is part of the Private Banking Finance team and is responsible for delivering change in order to create capacity, improve the control environment and enhance colleague and stakeholder experience through analytics and automation.
- The role holder will support the Change Implementation Lead and will work with and support across teams and functions.

What will you be doing?
- Understanding the finance processes and be able to identify opportunities for efficiencies and insight
- Comfortable handing and analysing large and complex data sets
- Be comfortable with and able to understand data flows across different client and general ledger systems
- Develop deep understanding of various data attributes / dimensions to build business relevant insights and analytics
- Drive appropriate levels of engagement with key stakeholders across the organisation to deliver projects and/or devise solutions

What we’re looking for:

- Strategic thinking: Able to take a long term view on complex problems, breaking them down and performing research and analysis in order to arrive at robust and thoroughly considered solutions. Analysis of business data, pilot results may be required to inform delivery of solutions
- Personal impact: Able to effectively communicate their ideas (verbally and written) in a way that gets the maximum positive reaction from a wide range of stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively: Able to work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues at all levels of seniority across the business, ensuring successful project delivery
- Managing complexity and problem solving: Able to identify and manage linkages, dependencies and impacts in complex changing environments; provide and implement feasible solutions to solve problems
- Self-motivated, capable of working independently, and to a high standard;
- Good control awareness including understanding the key controls required in a Bank
- Demonstrates good levels of self-awareness, a strong appetite for learning, and an ability to assimilate and analyse information quickly
- Educated to degree level or equivalent and/or has an appropriate professional qualification

- Detailed understanding of latest trends in the tactical technology tooling space. Insights into technical aspects around controls, architecture and technology standards.
- Knowledge about Wealth Management / Private Banking
- Advanced project management skills
