**Job Title - **Stores and Logistics officer**

We are looking for a responsible and experienced **Stores and Logistics officer** to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouses located in different districts.

As a **Stores and Logistics officer**, you will be responsible for managing the inventory, ensuring proper storage and organization of materials, overseeing the receipt and dispatch of products, and maintaining accurate records.

Your role will involve effective coordination with various departments, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead and manage a team are essential for this position.

**Responsibilities**:

- Receive, inspect, and document all service materials received at the office /warehouse, including solar pumps, motors, controllers, modules, structure and BoS related components.
- Receive incoming materials, verify their quantity and quality, and ensure proper storage and labelling according to defined procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all incoming and outgoing materials, including details such as quantity, condition, and serial numbers.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of stock and accurate material requirements planning.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team and respective service managers to ensure proper storage and organization of service materials in various districts.
- Conduct regular stock audits and physical verification to ensure the accuracy of inventory records and identify any discrepancies.
- Implement proper stock rotation techniques to ensure the first-in, first-out (FIFO) principle is followed.
- Supervise the picking, packing, and dispatching of materials to fulfil client orders and internal requirements.
- Generate reports on warehouse activities, including stock levels, incoming and outgoing materials, and any operational issues.
- Monitor and track inventory levels, identify discrepancies, and take appropriate actions to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve material management processes, streamline operations, and enhance overall efficiency.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Store Incharge or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics principles.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to priorities tasks effectively.
- Strong leadership skills to supervise and motivate the warehouse team.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to warehouse operations.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
