Job Title:
IP Associate

Summary:
IP Associate based at the Momentive Technology site in Bangalore will be directly responsible for weekly publications of Competitor patents, for assisting in IP Search and Analysis for Momentive's Technologies, and will be responsible for KCC-S IP Support.

Responsibilities Include:
The IP Associate will support IP activities of Momentive including:

- Weekly Communications of IP Publications
- Communicating high level IP Analysis insights using IP Analysis tools
- IP Technology responsibility for Corporate R&D team (IP Analysis, Invention reviews, OA responses)
- Supporting KCC-S team for IP analysis requirements
- Introducing advanced digital tools (AI and Big data analysis) for increasing productivity of IP Analysis
- Facilitating IP Awareness communications through novel communication techniques
- Collaborating with Momentive Business Services (MBS)

Qualifications:
The following are _required _for the role
- Master's in chemistry/Polymer Science
- 1-3 years of experience in Intellectual property
- At least 6 months of experience in Research and Development, preferably in Silicone Chemistry/Material/Polymer Science
- Effective English language and inter-personal skills
- 1-3 years of experience in Intellectual Property analysis, focusing on Patent analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

- PhD in Chemistry/Polymer Science
- Certification/diploma/Degree in Intellectual Property
- Trainings/Conferences/Publications in Intellectual property rights/Chemical/Polymer science
- Excellent communication and team work skills.
