**About the Role**:
The Buyer plays a crucial role in the procurement process, ensuring that the organization acquires goods and services at the best possible prices while maintaining quality standards. This position involves analyzing market trends and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions that align with the company's strategic goals. The Buyer will collaborate with various departments to understand their needs and develop purchasing strategies that optimize inventory levels and reduce costs. Additionally, the Buyer will be responsible for managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts to secure favorable terms. Ultimately, the Buyer contributes to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain, impacting the company's bottom line positively.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement or purchasing roles, preferably in a corporate environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS, CIPS) is a plus.
- Experience with global sourcing and familiarity with international trade regulations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their offerings.
- Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including creating and processing purchase orders.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve cost reductions and improve service levels.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Utilize ERP and MRP systems to track purchasing activities and maintain accurate records.

**Skills**:
The required skills in Supply Management and Cost Reduction are essential for analyzing supplier proposals and making strategic purchasing decisions that benefit the organization financially. Proficiency in Purchase Orders and the Purchasing Process ensures that the Buyer can efficiently manage procurement activities and maintain accurate documentation. Knowledge of Supply Chain Management and ERP Systems allows the Buyer to integrate purchasing functions with broader supply chain operations, enhancing overall efficiency. Familiarity with Bar Code and MRP Systems aids in inventory management and tracking, ensuring that the right products are available when needed. Preferred skills in global sourcing will enable the Buyer to explore international markets for cost-effective solutions, further contributing to the company's competitive advantage.
