**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and manage capacity of database management systems
- Lead, build and manage on and offshore global Database support teams
- Schedule Database patching for production and lower environments
- Plan and strategize backup and DR processes
- Provide audit and governance requirements
- Maintaining detailed technical documentation
- Leads efforts to define database strategy, architecture, standards and procedures to preserve the integrity and security of company data resources
- Lead team to troubleshoot database problems and implement corrective measures as required
- Join our Database team as a Lead DBA and design, implement, and maintain the systems that are instrumental to business function
- Develop your skills and expand your abilities by working with new systems and software

**Requirements**:
**Essential Skills**:

- Must have knowledge of IT concepts such as DB design, DB layout, DB structures, DB stored procedures, DB tables, DB optimization, TCP/IP, IT security concepts and practices
- Must be an expert in SQL Server along with a very good understanding of Oracle and knowledge of Informix, DB2, MongoDB, DynamoDB and any other databases
- Must be a self-starter with a great attitude, not afraid to take the initiative, and work with little supervision.
- Ability to analyze and write business and technical specifications and interact with IT and auditor teams.
- A degree in information technology/computer information systems or related.
- 6 + years of work experience in database support and management.
- Clear understanding of IT Operations, Software Development and Release Management using GitHub.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
- GitHub, ServiceNow, Jira, MS Office, SQL, etc.
