- **Taking Orders**: Accurately take food and beverage orders from customers, and relay these orders to the kitchen and bar staff.
- **Serving Food and Beverages**: Serve food and drinks to customers, ensuring that they are presented neatly and at the correct temperature.
- **Customer Interaction**: Check in with customers during their meal to ensure satisfaction, handle special requests, and address any issues or concerns.
- **Table Maintenance**: Clear empty plates, glasses, and utensils from the table in a timely manner, and reset tables for new guests.
- **Upselling and Recommendations**: Suggest additional menu items, beverages, or desserts to enhance the customer dining experience and increase sales.
- **Handling Payments**: Present checks to customers, process payments accurately, and return change or receipts.
- **Cleaning Duties**: Ensure that tables, chairs, and dining areas are clean and properly set up for each service. Clean up spills or messes as needed.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with other waitstaff, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service operations.
