
Assistant Pastry Chef

**Responsibilities**
1. Prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, desserts, bread etc. following traditional and modern recipes
2. Create new and exciting desserts.
3. Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings, etc. to ensure the presentation will be beautiful and exotic.
4. Manage inventory and make appropriate orders within budget
5. Check quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking regularly.
6. Guide and motivate pastry assistants and bakers as a strong team player
7. Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards
8.We believe in the right attitude and positive mindset.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as Pastry Chef, baker or relevant role
- Great attention to detail and creativity
- Organizing and leadership skills
- 1-2 years of working experience in the baking industry (Commis
- 3 or 2 based on experience and skill levels)
- Must have a diploma from a pastry school
- In depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques, and nutrition
- Working knowledge of baking with ingredient limitations (pastries that are vegan, gluten free, sugarless etc.)
- Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking, or relevant field
**Work Location**:Nagarbhavi -Bangalore (Karnataka)

**Pay**: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
