Job Title: Coffee Bar Tender

Location: Gurugram

Reports To: Food and Beverage Manager or Restaurant Manager

Job Summary: The Coffee Bar Tender plays a crucial role in ensuring the exceptional service and quality of coffee and related beverages in the hotel's coffee bar. They are responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee-based drinks and maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
**Beverage Preparation**:Prepare and serve a range of coffee and tea beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, Americano, and specialty coffee drinks.
Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all beverages.

**Customer Service**:Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
Take and prepare customer orders promptly and accurately.
Address customer inquiries and resolve any service-related issues professionally.

**Menu Knowledge**:Be knowledgeable about the coffee menu, including ingredients, brewing methods, and options for customization.
Make recommendations to customers based on their preferences.

**Equipment Maintenance**:Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment in a clean and safe manner.
Report any equipment malfunctions or issues for prompt repair.

**Inventory Management**:Monitor and manage coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies to ensure an adequate stock.
Place orders for coffee-related inventory as needed.

**Hygiene and Safety**:Follow strict hygiene and safety standards in handling food and beverages.
Keep the coffee bar area clean and organized at all times.

**Cash Handling**:Handle cash and card transactions accurately and provide customers with receipts.
Ensure the cash register is balanced at the end of each shift.

**Team Collaboration**:Work closely with kitchen staff and servers to ensure a smooth flow of service and timely delivery of orders.
Collaborate with the Food and Beverage team for promotions and menu enhancements.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Previous experience as a barista or coffee bar tender is preferred.
- Knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and latte art is a plus.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Basic math skills for cash handling.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Familiarity with hygiene and safety regulations.

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gurgaon, Haryana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
