**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- The Assistant Nursing Superintendent will assist the Nursing Superintendent in her office work.
- Supervise the nursing care given to the patients in various departments by taking regular round of her area.
- Interpret the policies and procedures of the Nursing service department to sub-ordinate staff and others.
- Attend the emergency calls concerning nursing services or hostel problems.
- She will be responsible for compile and submit nursing statistics to the concern authority
- Keep records and reports of Nursing Services.
- Maintain the records of attendance of nursing staff and leave of any kind.
- Prepare the Leave planner for the entire Nursing team and its adherence.
- Initiate procedure for condemnation and procurement of hospital equipment/linen etc.
- Maintain the confidential report and records of nursing personnel.
- Officiate in the absence of nursing staff.
- Attend the official meetings.
- Assists in planning and organizing the new units in the hospital if any.
- Takes regular hospital rounds / meeting patients.
- Take immediate action to resolve or clear any negative impression, complaint or distress expressed in any way by the patient or family.
- Supervises care given by the team members in various departments.
- Interprets the policies and procedures of the hospital care to subordinate staff and others.
- Conducts regular physical verification of ward stock.
- Conducts meeting with Nurses for the improvement of the department functionalities.
- Conducts regular auditing of all Nursing departments.
- Attends training programs and other educational activities for the professional growth and maintain the record of same.
- Responsible to receive report from the night supervisor of the hospital and provide report to Nursing Superintendent.
- She will be responsible for making relief arrangement for sudden absence of nursing staff.
- Responsible in receiving indents.
- To check the booking register a day before surgery, for the special requirement and to co
- ordinate with the surgeon & anesthetist.
- To ensure that aseptic technique is maintained strictly in OT.
- To check whether the consumables instruments and equipments are available for the surgery.
- To ensure that all the equipments are functioning properly.
- To check if all surgeries on completion is documented properly.
- To maintain the emergency stock in Operation Theatre.
- To maintain cordial inter personal relationship within the unit and with support staff of other departments.
- To be aware of NABH standards and implement the same.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
