**About the Role**

Confluent is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Travel & Expense Analyst to join our Shared Services Accounts Payable team. In this role, you will play a key role in the Company's Shared Services organization, responsible for the overall analysis of employee expenses, analyze data to provide trends, identify anomalies, and recommend action.

**What you’ll do**:

- Audit, approve, and process domestic and international expense reports in a timely and efficient manner.
- Responsible for providing training to employees and answering employee’s questions regarding our T&E policy
- Interact with various levels of Confluent personnel to ensure expenses are being approved appropriately
- Administer T&E policy and process for employees
- Perform compliance checks and approval of expense reports.
- Raise expense systematic errors to the Business Systems team for resolution.
- Respond to Expense related tickets in a timely manner
- Identify concerns or trends indicative of potential misuse or fraud
- Assist with the creation and development of Expense reporting for ad-hoc usage

**What we’re looking for**:

- 3+ years of professional experience at a multinational company in Accounts Payable, with at least 2 years in an Expense related role
- Experience working in a global accounts payable organization
- Experience working with Expensify (or other expense systems) preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in a rapid-growth start-up environment
- Experience working in a Shared Services environment
