IMS DBA experience:
L2 support Need Database Admin Application or System
IMS DB support experience with version 13 onwards.
DB Objects Experience in creating and modifying DBD, PSB, ACB, FMT.
Experience with administration of IMS Full Function, HALDB, Fastpath databases.
Good knowledge on DBRC, Restore, Reorg, Load IMS DB.
Experience in database initialization, forward recovery and building secondary index and pointer checker, checkpoint restart, Fast path, DEDB etc
Strong Knowledge of Troubleshooting skills on IMS administration.
Usage of IMS utilities including IBM, BMC
Working Knowledge of RACF as it relates to IMS.
Working Knowledge of IMS exit points and routines
z or OS TSO, ISPF, JCL
Tools FileManager, ADBUS
Basic knowledge on VSAM,CICS, IMS DC VSAM is the preferred one
Good communication skills.
Good to Have
DB2 DBA on MainframeZ or OS
DB Objects Experience in creating and modifying DB2 objects Database, Storage Group, Tablespace, Tables, Views, Indexes, etc.
Experience with DB2 commands Stop orStart Databases, Display command, Cancel thread and Term and Display utility, others.
Hands on experience on DB2 utilities Reorg and Runstat, Backup and Recovery of Table spaces copy and recover, Repair, Load or Unload utilities.
Ability to bind or rebind the Plans or Packages and Granting required accesses to Packages or Plans or Collections.
Experience in Database Monitoring.
Experience in Database replication IBM DB2 Data Propagator
DB2 administration Strong Troubleshooting skills
DB2 privileges and RACF
z or OS TSO, ISPF, JCL.
Tools DB2 Admin tool, QMF, FileManager, Changeman, ESP.
Location Pune Onsite 3 days working from office
Shift 3 PM to 12 AM Post 12 AM on call support once in a month
