Responsible for designing of concepts for window displays, signs, interior displays, fixtures, special promotions display, merchandise arrangements and space utilization to get the buyer’s attention and to provide an excellent in-store experience, to convert window shoppers into prospects, drive branding and sales objectives and maximize profitability.
- To ensure visual merchandising is in alignment to the organization’s culture, products, image, and target market and adheres to required brand presentation parameters.
- To manage quarterly/monthly visual calendars and ensure deadlines are met consistently.
- Needs to oversee concept creation and implementation of high-profile window displays/visual merchandising through collaboration with internal departments such as design and marketing/Graphics Team.
- Responsible for highlighting and showcasing all key product initiatives to drive traffic and increase sales.
- Must initiate seasonal display/presentations, displays for events and occasions to support high business peaks of the year.
- Needs to communicate regularly and oversee the store-in-charges/ASMs (GT) for implementation of displays and brief staff on arranging displays. Provide visual presentation feedback and direction on VM.
- Should drive fixture development, signage program in partnership with store design team to showcase new and existing product categories and new initiatives.
- Must support new store openings by reviewing and approving flow maps and store interior plans.
- Needs to shop the competition regularly to increase knowledge and understanding of the visual industry and competitive marketplace.
- Ensure proper Liasoning with suppliers and source required materials and ensure quality/cost are as per expectations.
- Needs to collaborate and work closely with Inventory Managers, Retail Buyers/Designers, and Suppliers, if any to develop VM Concepts/ fixtures.
- Responsible for managing a team of visual merchandisers at regional level and store-in
- charges/ASMs (GT) for VM implementation. This involves assigning tasks, giving clear informative guidelines for concept implementation/visual standards, training on VM concepts, conducting VM Audits, performance evaluation and giving feedback on VM implementation.
- Must define VM budgets for stores/regions and monitor costs and ensure VM projects work within budget.
