Bim Technician

In this position, you will get to:

- Develop detailed Revit models for MEP using nVent products. Produce accurate technical drawings and construction documents from Revit.
- Development of Revit families, expanding the BIM library to support customer needs.
- Assist the implementation and management of BIM workflows and standards with the engineering team.
- Coordinate with technical lead to resolve any discrepancies or conflicts within the model, including clashes between different building systems.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BIM-related issues.

You have:

- Associate’s degree or technical degree in a relevant field (e.g., architecture, engineering, construction management).
- 3+ years of BIM experience with proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
- Knows or is able to learn the following: BIM360/ACC, Bluebeam, Dynamo, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Tekla Structures
- Skills
- Project Modeling: Strong understanding of building design principles and construction processes **.**:

- Content creation: Families including parametric, formula, nested and type catalogs data.
- Ability to accurately interpret engineering documentation and translate into BIM 3D modeling with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interface effectively with internal and external customers.
- Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Fluent in English
- Abilities to meet the physical and environmental demands:

- Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours
- Able to excel under pressure and meet established deadlines
- Ability to negotiate and work with outside agencies
- Ability to work across time zones in a multi-cultural environment
- The ability to clearly and comfortably view, interpret and process information via a computer monitor for extended periods during normal working hours
