Job Description: Hostel Warden (School - Odisha Location)

Job Summary: We are currently seeking a responsible and experienced Hostel

Warden to oversee the operations of our school hostel in Odisha. The Hostel

Warden will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and safety of the students

interpersonal skills, be capable of managing hostel facilities effectively, and have a

genuine interest in the welfare and development of students.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Ensure the overall safety, security, and discipline of students residing in the hostel.

2. Supervise and monitor students' daily routines, including wake-up, study time, meals,

recreation, and bedtime.

3. Maintain a clean, hygienic, and comfortable environment in the hostel by regularly

inspecting rooms, common areas, and facilities.

4. Implement and enforce hostel rules, policies, and regulations in a fair and consistent

manner.

5. Respond promptly to students' needs, concerns, and emergencies, and provide

appropriate assistance and guidance as required.

6. Collaborate with the school administration, teachers, and parents/guardians to

ensure effective communication and support for students.

7. Organize and supervise recreational activities, events, and outings for hostel

residents.

8. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, leave, medical issues, and

disciplinary actions.

9. Coordinate with the school's maintenance staff for repairs, maintenance, and

cleanliness of the hostel premises.

10. Conduct regular meetings with hostel staff to discuss any issues, concerns, or

improvements required.

11. Provide counseling and support to students when needed, addressing academic,

personal, or behavioral challenges.

12. Prepare and submit reports on hostel activities, incidents, and student progress to

the school management as required.

**Requirements**:
1. Graduation or equivalent qualification in any discipline.

2. Previous experience as a Hostel Warden or in a similar supervisory role is preferred.

3. Strong leadership, organizational, and administrative skills.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students,

parents, and staff.

5. Ability to maintain a safe, secure, and disciplined environment within the hostel.

6. Empathy, patience, and understanding towards the needs of students.

7. Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures.

8. Proficient computer skills for record-keeping and communication purposes.

9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
