Hilden Packaging Machines Pvt Ltd, a leading manufacturer of innovative packaging equipment and systems, is seeking a talented Machine Designer with 2-3 years of experience to join our team. As a Machine Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing cutting-edge packaging machinery solutions to meet the diverse needs of our customers across various industries.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and manufacturing, to understand project requirements and translate them into innovative packaging machinery designs.
- Utilize CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) to create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings of machine components, subsystems, and complete systems.
- Develop concept sketches, design layouts, and prototypes to visualize and communicate design ideas, incorporating input from stakeholders and users.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to evaluate design concepts and select the most appropriate solutions for implementation.
- Optimize designs for manufacturability, assembly, and performance, considering factors such as material selection, machining processes, and tolerance requirements.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source materials, components, and subsystems required for machine construction, ensuring compliance with quality standards and project timelines.
- Prototype and test machine prototypes, evaluating performance, reliability, and safety aspects, and iteratively refine designs to meet functional and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the development of design standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality in machine design processes and outputs.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including design specifications, bill of materials (BOM), technical drawings, test plans, and validation reports, to support design traceability and compliance.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in machine design and development, and actively contribute ideas for continuous improvement and innovation.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in machine design and development, preferably in the packaging machinery or automation industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for 3D modeling, assembly, and drafting.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to conceptualize complex mechanical systems and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to producing high-quality work and meeting project deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials selection, and machining techniques.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to machine design and safety, such as ISO 9001, CE, and ANSI requirements.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and design methodologies.
- Experience with simulation and analysis tools (e.g., Finite Element Analysis) is a plus.
