**Job Summary**:
The Conti Commis 2 Chef assists in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of Continental dishes under the guidance of senior chefs. This role requires a passion for cooking, an eagerness to learn, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of Continental cuisine as per standard recipes and guidelines.
- Ensure proper mise en place before service, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper storage and labeling of ingredients.
- Assist in plating and presentation to maintain quality and consistency.
- Support the Chef de Partie and Commis 1 in daily kitchen operations.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the senior chef.
- Learn and develop new cooking techniques and recipes.
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workstation.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a Continental kitchen.
- Basic knowledge of Continental cooking techniques, ingredients, and presentation.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and take instructions from senior chefs.
- Strong attention to detail and hygiene standards.
- Diploma or certification in culinary arts is a plus.
**Work Conditions**:
- Flexible work hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Standing for extended periods in a hot kitchen environment.
- Fast-paced, high-pressure work setting.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
