**Job Title**: Senior Database Developer / DBA (Oracle & MS SQL Server Migration)
**Location**: Onsite Airoli, Navi Mumbai
**Employment Type**: Full Time

**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the **migration of databases** from Oracle to MS SQL Server (or vice versa), ensuring data integrity, performance, and mínimal downtime.
- Analyze existing database schemas, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages for migration compatibility.
- Design and implement **data migration scripts**, ETL processes, and automation pipelines.
- Optimize and refactor SQL queries, indexes, and execution plans for performance improvements.
- Manage database configuration, backups, recovery, and high-availability setups.
- Conduct **testing, validation, and performance benchmarking** after migration.
- Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to the internal team.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- **5+ years** of experience in **database development and administration** with Oracle and/or MS SQL Server.
- Proven experience in **cross-platform migration** (Oracle ↔ MS SQL Server).
- Strong knowledge of **PL/SQL**, **T-SQL**, and database scripting.
- Hands-on experience with **SSIS**, **SQL Server Migration Assistant (SSMA)**, or other migration tools.
- Deep understanding of **database design, normalization, indexing strategies**, and **query optimization**.
- Familiarity with **performance tuning**, **backup/recovery strategies**, and **security best practices**.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

**Nice to Have**
- Experience with **Azure SQL**, **Oracle Cloud**, or other cloud database services.
- Familiarity with **data warehousing** and **ETL pipelines**.
- Experience working in **Agile** or **DevOps** environments.
- Certification such as **Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)** or **Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate**.

**Education**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in **Computer Science**, **Information Technology**, or related field.

Pay: ₹1,027,509.21 - ₹2,039,029.05 per year
