The Billing Staff in the hospital canteen is responsible for accurately recording food and beverage transactions, handling cash/card payments, generating bills, and maintaining proper billing records. The role ensures efficient and courteous service to hospital staff, patients, and visitors, contributing to smooth daily operations of the canteen.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Accurately generate bills using POS (Point of Sale) systems or manual billing methods.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card, or digital payments and provide correct change/balance.
- Maintain daily billing records and cash registers.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the billing counter.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for order verification and customer satisfaction.
- Resolve any billing discrepancies or customer complaints promptly and politely.
- Assist in inventory tracking for billing-related items (e.g., paper rolls, receipts).
- Adhere to hospital and canteen hygiene and safety protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism, especially within the hospital environment.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Prior experience in billing, cashiering, or food service is preferred.
- Basic computer and Tally knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage peak hour traffic.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends or holidays if required.
