With growing threats and risks to personal safety and security, need for employing personal protection is growing in society. Businessmen, industrialists, leaders, celebrities and vulnerable people need to be protected against multifarious threats and risks to their life. Primary responsibility of a PSO is to protect the principal against possible threats. A PSO is required to operate within the confines of the assigned tasks and are required to operate alone or as part of a team both in armed and unarmed roles. PSOs should be physically fit, mentally alert and willing to take risks.
