**Job Title**:
Accounts Payable Officer

**Invictus Engineers** is a fast-growing company committed to operational excellence and financial integrity. As we scale our business operations, we are looking to strengthen our finance team by hiring a meticulous and reliable **Accounts Payable Officer**.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Process invoices accurately, matching them with purchase orders and receipts.
- Verify and reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments (NEFT, RTGS, etc.).
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and within terms.
- Assist with month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
- Liaise with vendors and internal departments to resolve any payment-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant accounting standards.
- Support the Finance Manager and team in ad-hoc projects and audits as required.

**Skills & Experience Required**:

- Proven experience (2-5 years) as an **Accounts Payable Officer / Executive / Accountant**.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and accounting principles.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in **Commerce / Accounting / Finance** or related field.
- Professional certifications (CA-Inter, CMA-Inter, or equivalent) — an advantage but not mandatory.
