- Undertake duties as directed by the Local Operations Manager.

- Undertake regular review of HS performance across project.

- Advise what training and qualifications are required for all members of the Construction team to undertake their roles and responsibilities in respect of HS.

- Advise what human, technical and equipment resources are sufficient and appropriate to meet the project’s HS objectives.

- Provide information, technical advice and support to all Construction teams on HS information including legislation, standards, codes of practice etc.

- Participate in workplace inspections and provide guidance as required to workers nominated to complete designated tasks and corrective action.

- Monitor that incidents across project have been properly investigated and that appropriate and timely corrective action has been initiated to prevent recurrence.

- Disseminate statistical information regarding incidents near misses and injuries to relevant consultative forums and persons concerned in the management of PDS.

- Conduct site safety inspections and audits.

- Assist project teams to review HS considerations in the selection of service providers (subcontractors and suppliers).

- Monitor that PDS construction projects have a documented emergency procedure and Project HS Risk Assessment and safety documentation required before work commences.
