**The Hotel**

Century Inn is a corporate 4-star hotel in Traralgon with 53 accommodation rooms, a restaurant, and function/meeting rooms. Conveniently located in the popular Traralgon area, off Highway M1, Century Inn features relaxed accommodation ranges from simple rooms to contemporary suites. Visitors can stop by the hotel’s Terrace Café for a bite, which serves local cuisine and is open for breakfast and dinner.

**Position Title: Chef**

Nirvana Hospitality Pty Ltd Trading as Century Inn Traralgon seeks a full time Chef for its busy establishment.

**You will be responsible for the following tasks**:

- Undertaking menu planning for Century inn guest as well catering services, events, conferences and weddings
- Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries
- Undertaking meal costing and discussing budgets with management
- Developing and managing staff rostering to meet customer demand
- Discussing food preparation and service issues with management and wait staff
- Preparing a range of meals, snacks and desserts to the highest standards
- Ensuring that food is preserved by storing in temperature-controlled facilities
- Managing inventory to ensure bet use of fresh ingredients
- Overseeing stock takes
- Ensuring compliance with food management and health and safety protocols
- Managing service set up

Key Selection Criteria
- 3+ years’ full time work experience as a chef
- AQF Certificate IV or higher (or relevant experience in lieu of)
- Kitchen leadership skills
- Able to manage high pressure situations

**Job Types**: Full-time, PermanentIdeally, we are looking with someone at least 3 to 5 years’ experience in the similar position or in the hospitality industry.

**Salary**: ₹3,120,000.00 per year
