**This position is located at Kwajalein Atoll**

**Essential Functions**
- Install, maintain, and support multiple servers on physical and virtual platforms in support of RTS initiatives.
- Responsible for contributing to the design and deployment of complex physical and virtual infrastructures.
- Contribute to the design and deployment of beneficial IT solutions to improve execution, efficiency, and capabilities.
- Ensure the technical integrity of existing and future design solutions.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolution for hardware and software issues.
- Perform other duties as necessary.

**Required Skills**:

- PowerShell scripting skills, with ability to write your own, or modify existing scripts to meet department needs.
- Hands on knowledge of and troubleshooting skills with VMware vSphere 6.x+.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Strong documentation and organizational.
- Strong organization and project management.
- Strong related technical knowledge and skills.
- Basic network troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of and troubleshooting skills with Windows 10, 2012R2, 2016, and 2019.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively:

- Install, configure and maintain Windows systems in a mission critical environment.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows systems.
- Install and update software packages from repositories or SCCM.
- Manage local users and groups and with Active Directory integration.
- Secure physical and virtual machines to DISA STIG requirements.

**Required Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and/or equivalent relevant experience.
- Two or more years’ experience working in related field in Information Technology.
- Must have and maintain an active CCNA Security, Security+, CySA+, GICSP, or similar certification meeting DoD 8140.01 / DoD 8570.01 baseline certification for IAT Level II.
- Must have and maintain an active MCITP, CCNA, Linux+, Server+, Oracle DBA, or similar certification to meet DoD 8570.01-M certifications required for the applicable operating system and/or security related tools/devices for this position to meet the IAT Level II requirements.

***Additional Eligibility Qualifications**
- The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements.
- This position is unaccompanied.
- Must be able to relocate to the United States Army Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. passport
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance, which includes U.S. Citizenship or U.S. naturalization
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License required.
