Summary of Position:
Key Responsibilities:

- API Design and Development: Design, implement, and manage RESTful and GraphQL APIs, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and compliant with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR). Establish API best practices and standards for the development team.
- Full-Stack Development: Provide full-stack development expertise, guiding teams on best practices in front-end (React, Angular) and back-end (Node.js, Java, Python) technologies within the healthcare domain.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure that all solutions adhere to healthcare security standards (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH) and compliance requirements. Implement robust security measures, including encryption, identity management, and access control, tailored to healthcare data.
- Technical Leadership: Act as a technical leader and mentor for development teams, guiding them through complex technical challenges, Technical Architecture/Design reviews, code reviews, and architectural decisions, with a focus on healthcare solutions.
- Solution Delivery: Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate healthcare business requirements into technical solutions. Ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize the performance of existing healthcare solutions, ensuring they meet the necessary scalability, reliability, performance and compliance requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends, tools, and frameworks relevant to healthcare. Propose and implement improvements to processes, tools, and software architecture.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including technical specifications, diagrams, and best practice guidelines, with a focus on healthcare industry standards.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

- Experience: 12+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in an architectural role, specifically within the healthcare industry.
- API Expertise: Extensive experience in designing, developing, and managing RESTful and GraphQL APIs, with knowledge of healthcare standards like HL7, FHIR, and DICOM.
- Full-Stack Development: Proficiency in full-stack development, including front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Java, Python), with healthcare-specific use cases.
- Security and Compliance: Deep understanding of healthcare security and privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH) and experience implementing security controls and compliance frameworks in a healthcare environment.
- Healthcare Certifications:

- Certified HIPAA Professional (CHP)
- Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Healthcare (preferred)
- Technical Leadership: Proven track record of providing technical leadership and mentoring to development teams, particularly in the healthcare industry.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in healthcare software systems.
- Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in the healthcare sector.
- Agile/Scrum Experience: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- DevOps Practices: Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code (IaC), in healthcare settings.

Preferred Skills:

- Certifications: Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF) are highly desirable.
- Cloud Cost Management: Experience with cloud cost management and optimization strategies, with a focus on healthcare solutions.

Work hours: 1 PM to 10 PM IST
