The Consumer and Marketing Technologies Department is the IT Engine that delivers robust solutions to Kimberly-Clark’s marketing teams by working with the appropriate internal and external resources including vendor partners. Our goal is to deliver innovative, efficient and cost-effective solutions to meet enterprise needs thereby driving business growth and profitability.

The Solution Architect is a technology leader who will be responsible for architecting a global Web Experience Platform with Sitecore that provides relevant content, collaboration capabilities for consumers. The architect has the key responsibility to build web sites, mobile apps etc. that meet the regional priorities while realizing the global platform vision. The platform will be built using Sitecore and will seamlessly integrate with the rest of the marketing ecosystem. The architect should strive to minimize customization while offering the right level of flexibility through configuration. As a hands-on expert, the architect will ensure that the components and integrations are loosely coupled to be re-used across global implementations in a cost-effective way without compromising the business needs. This role will work with appropriate global teams to ensure compliance with the enterprise security guidelines.

The right person for this role is proactive with stakeholders, a self-starter who can work under broad direction, and passionate about delivering world-class digital products that enable the business to optimize operations to maximize the value of K-C investments.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Participate in requirements gathering to solidify requirements and determine the best technical solution to meet the business needs.
- Design, develop and implement new templates, components, and responsive web pages/sites in Sitecore to support the expansion of the core Sitecore platform. Support Kimberly-Clark’s development and security standards while developing.
- Work closely with the Digital Producers and/or Marketing organization on the implementation of new capabilities
- Ensure quality delivery by performing design reviews, code walkthroughs / review to ensure adherence to standards and security guidelines.
- Provide technical due diligence of software products and platforms. Create technical assessments, based on criteria including cost, security, vendor fit, alignment to objectives, reliability, and scalability
- Drive improvements in engineering practices to optimize cost and quality
- Maintain and evolve cultural awareness; act with global fluency. Adopt a test and learn, fail fast mindset with calculated risk taking.
- Act as a disruptive change agent fluidly moving back and forth between transformation initiatives and day-to-day business as usual. Delivers right mix of operations, delivery, strategy and innovation.

**Skills / Experience Required**
- **A Bachelors of Computer Science or a related field is required**:

- **4-6 years of hands-on Sitecore solution development experience with Sitecore versions 8.x or higher required**:

- **Experience upgrading consumer facing websites from Sitecore 7.x to Sitecore 8.x or 9.x is a plus.**:

- **Experience setting up Sitecore xDB and Personalization features in Sitecore is a plus.**:

- **Strong experience with one of the search technologies is desired: Coveo (On Prem, Cloud), SOLR, Lucene**
- Experience designing and optimizing relational databases and stored procedures for optimal performance and/or maintainability Experience with SQL Server is a must, experience with MongoDB is a plus
- Sitecore Professional Developer Certification is a plus
- Good insight with front end development using JavaScript (jQuery plus Node, Angular, or React), CSS, and HTML required
- Experience with HTML5, Bootstrap, Foundation for mobile/responsive design will be a plus
- Good understanding data privacy and data protection regulations like GDPR, CCPA is desired
- Experience working with integrations to SalesForce Marketing Cloud, SAP Gigya etc..
- Good understanding in MuleSoft API designing (SOAP/REST) is desired
- Experience working on an agile team adopting DevOps and CI/CD using TFS/Azure DevOps
- Experience with Cloud ecosystems including Azure, Sitecore Cloud or AWS is a plus
- Strong facilitation, leadership, creative thinking, and collaboration skills required. Must display resiliency and the ability to engage and communicate with stakeholders at all levels of an organization
- Experience working with virtual teams across time zones
