**Job Title: CAD Designer**

**Job Overview**:
As a CAD Designer, you will play a key role in the design and development of robotic systems and machines. Using your expertise in CAD software, you will create detailed and accurate 3D models and technical drawings that serve as the blueprint for manufacturing and assembly processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and programmers, to ensure that the designs meet technical specifications and project requirements. You will also be responsible for all the assembly of the machines and vendor management

**Responsibilities**:
1. **Create 3D Models and analysis**:

- Use CAD software to create detailed 3D models of robotic systems, components, and assemblies.
- Ensure accuracy, precision, and adherence to design specifications.
- Doing the force, load analysis and testing

**Produce Technical Drawings**:

- Generate comprehensive technical drawings, including orthographic and isometric views, detailing dimensions, tolerances, and materials.

**3. Collaborate with Engineers**:

- Work closely with robotics engineers to understand project requirements and design constraints.
- Incorporate engineering feedback to optimise designs for functionality, performance, and manufacturability.
- Electronics integration in to mechanical parts

**4. Review and Revise Designs**:

- Conduct design reviews to identify and address potential issues or improvements.
- Revise and update designs based on feedback from cross-functional teams.

**5. Ensure Compliance**:

- Ensure that designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.

**6. Material Selection**:

- Collaborate with the materials team to select appropriate materials for different components, considering factors such as strength, weight, and cost.

**7. Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate documentation of design changes, revisions, and project progress.
- Prepare and organise design files for easy access by team members.

**8. Prototype Support**:

- Provide support for the prototyping and testing phases by creating prototypes based on CAD designs.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the related field.
- Proven experience as a CAD Designer, preferably in the field of robotics or automation.
- Proficiency in CAD software in Fusion 360, Solidworks, Catia and ansys.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Knowledge of robotics and automation concepts.
- Familiarity with doing force analysis
- Familiarity with simulation software for testing and validating robotic designs.
- Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles.
- Knowledge of different types of materials and components including finding the vendors for the same.
