Our manufacturing facilities and offices are based in Abbigere Industrial area in Bangalore. We are a team of over 100 people, including 70 skilled artisans and a work culture that places a high priority on ethics, integrity and excellence.
- **Job Description**_

We are looking for an **Upholstery Pattern Maker/ Master Tailor** with experience in making patterns for fabric and leather **sofas**, upholstered chairs, cushions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Creating fabric patterns for simple sofas, chairs and cushions.
- Creating fabric patterns for organic forms.
- Prototyping in a number of different upholstery materials.
- Creating pattern templates.
- Managing version control of patterns, tracking changes and distributing the correct pattern for upholstery.
- Knowledge transfer of pattern use to tailoring unit.
- Guidance and supervision of pattern use.
- Proper storage and management of templates.

**Profile**:

- Minimum 5 years experience as a pattern maker in sofa production and manufacturing units.
- High precision measuring ability/ correlation to pre-existing templates.
- Ability to create patterns in paper and on the computer.
- Ability to make small adjustments of patterns, based on instructions.
- Have a basic understanding of fabric construction.
- In depth knowledge of various upholstery materials like foam, niwar, wadding, etc.
- Have hands-on experience in handling, working with a variety of têxtiles.
- Follow fabric construction processes meticulously.
- Have a good sense of geometry.
- Ability to communicate with and manage a team of tailors.
- Ability to manage and maintain versions of patterns.
- High skill and experience with various forms of upholstery hardware.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
