**Position for OneOps - Ops Self Service & Self Heal**:
**What you’ll be doing...**:
We want to liberate access to digital media, delighting our customers with beautifully crafted products that put them in control. We’re looking for someone to assist in the design of these products. That’s where you come in. You’ll work with other specialists, designers, and development team members to achieve program goals that seek to deliver products to redefine how media is consumed in the world today.
- Developing thermo-mechanical designs for consumer-electronic products for high volume manufacturing.
- Developing system component designs using 3D CAD tools.
- Assisting with the creation of prototypes and conducting design reviews
- Performing part and design acceptance checks, including on-site first article inspections.
- Resolving design and implementation issues.

You’re the type of person who thrives when working as part of an effective team in a fast-paced, innovative environment. As an excellent communicator, you are known for your ability to cut through the technical jargon and optimally describe complex concepts in a way that’s easy for others to understand.

You’ll need to have:

- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Four or more years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of mechanical CAD tools.
- Willingness to travel overseas for on-site first article inspections.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Experience with consumer electronic products.
- Understanding of hardware virtual machines, tooling, and assembly methodologies.
- Hands on experience in mechanical design (plastic, metal, and sheet metal design, thermal principles, and environmental considerations (i.e., regulatory, EMC, ESD).
- Experience creating products that meet European design requirements (CE).
- Familiarity with plastic and metal cosmetic finishing processes.

**Where you’ll be working**: In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

**Scheduled Weekly Hours**: 40
