**Azure Platform Administrator**

**What you will do**

Is Azure your top environment? Are you delivering PaaS & IaaS based analytics solutions? Join our international team, and support Azure Data Lake now and Azure Snowflake in the future

**How you will do it**
- Proactive administration & support of Azure Data Lake Platform including admin, incident management & troubleshooting
- Be the point of contact for Azure PaaS services including Data Factory, ADLS, Databricks, Synapse & DevOps - Capacity/Cost tracking
- Support & Maintain - Big Data Cluster - based on HD Insight, Azure Synapse & Hive
- Define standards & best methodologies with Technical Architects & ensure they are implemented or maintained
- Liaise with Microsoft Support & SMEs in the escalation & resolution of platform issues
- Collaborate with partners of all levels to coordinate, maintain & support Data platforms along with ETL Jobs using Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Build solutions to monitor, trace, log & address any concerns in cloud-based data platform architecture

**What we look for**

**Required**
- 3+ years hands-on experience using various methodologies to deliver robust PaaS & IaaS based analytics solutions using Azure Cloud technologies
- Database technologies i.e. Azure SQL and Azure HD Insight
- Overview of Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Store, Azure Snowflake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Security Management with Ranger policies
- PowerShell or other scripting languages
- Technical troubleshooting, log analysis & performance optimization experience

**Preferred**
- Degree in Software Engineering/Computer Science or similar
- The expertise of Azure cloud-based data platform architecture
- Expertise in Big data platforms, HIVE & Enterprise data platform
- Azure Synapse, ARM Template
- Azure DevOps - Repo’s, CI/CD with multiple services integrated
- Programming skills using Java, Python,.Net
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication & influencing skills
- Understanding trends, industry standards & new concepts in Data & Analytics space
