You will be working as Product Owner and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Process Control Platform Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Head of Engineering and will be responsible for contributing significantly to successful project results in technology, software, product and/or solution development as well as associated IP by identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative solutions. Using unique technical knowledge to oversee development tasks. Working as the first line contact in R&D/SW development/Product engineering for the specific product related issues and maintenance.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Collaborating with the global product management to translate market requirements to product requirements and executing the roadmap for 800xA engineering tools
- Interacting with the Stakeholders to understand and develop the requirement, managing the projects according to gate model
- Creating and grooming the backlog for teams, providing L4 technical solution for customer cases coordinating with L3
- Providing technical support to testing team for verification and validation of the products
- Balancing product release expectation from the product management team & development team, ensuring release of the product with acceptable quality
- Contributing to technical bodies both inside and outside ABB and promoting ABB's R&D internally and externally
- Working on and providing inputs on engineering efficiency

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in EE/computer science engineering
- Required 10+ years experience in research & development, technology, product and process automation domain
- Knowledge and relevant experience in product development processes
- Knowledge of process automation standards with solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
- Good People and interpersonal skills
