Ather has started functioning as a Matrix organisation with strong inclination towards an Agile manner of working. The objectives of the org are divided into multiple Product Lines and each Product owner is responsible for achieving the org targets via a dotted line reporting of all the relevant team members. The Product owner is solely accountable for the delivery of the org objectives and is expected to work across the hierarchy to get the objectives delivered.

The Product owner will have a program management team also aligned with them via a dotted line structure which will support them in the execution.

WHAT YOU’LL DO AT ATHER:

- As a manufacturing Product owner, you will be accountable for delivering the production numbers with the right quality and right cost structure.
- You will be given targets from the management group and you will have to work with cross functional teams towards achieving them
- You will be constantly working with cross functional teams, constantly understanding the challenges and supporting the teams in taking micro and macro strategic decisions which will help the team deliver the outcome
- On a sprint by sprint basis you will prioritise the work for cross functional teams to ensure maximum outcome with the constraints of resources
- Resolve any prioritisation conflicts and taking measured risks calls to break any impasse
- Work with other Product owners either as a customer or stakeholder to ensure appropriate prioritisation happening in their cross functional groups

HERE’S WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

- Experience in having driven cross functional teams towards success
- Strong business acumen and ability to understand business context and quickly adapt accordingly
- Strong understanding of principles of Manufacturing, Supplier management, Logistics, Warehouse, Quality
- Strong ability to zoom in and zoom out, along with high willingness to get hands dirty when required
- Strong leadership skills to be able to guide the teams with coherence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, collaboration skills
- Demonstrated flexibility and initiative in achieving desired outcomes

YOU BRING TO ATHER:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Engineering with 6 - 8 years of experience in Manufacturing Operations.
- MBA desired
