**What does the Finance team do?**
At Finance, we connect with management and handle all functions related to the company’s financial well-being. We work on organization’s capital funds, including acquiring and managing these funds. Often overlooked, the finance team has the knowledge to teach how to effectively grow the business apart from maintaining the books and providing reports to top management.
**What does your day look like at Freightbro?**
- You will be working on documentation and regulatory aspects of the statutory compliances of the organization
- You learn to thrive in fast-paced environments and get accustomed to ambiguity and a lack of structure
- Develop an entrepreneurial mindset - make things happen and proactively step up when you recognize an opportunity.
- You enjoy executing on both a strategic and tactical level, with the ability to develop well-defined business and operational plans to achieve desired objectives.
- You are an innovator at heart and will have to cohesively work with other team members.
- Diligently supports Financial analysis for Cost improvement projects
- Support the management of any historical financial data requirement in terms of Expenses, Payables, Receivables and audit requirements
**What do we look for in you?**
- A degree in Commerce, CA, ICWA, MBA, BBA.
- 1+ year’ of experience in Finance and Accounting
- Ability to check, process and pass entries for invoices in books, good theoretical knowledge on Accounts payable processes.
- To manage petty cash, employee reimbursements and pass all journal entries in books related to Bank.
- Young versatile and energetic personality with good grasping power
- Exposure on understanding of Statutory/ Tax and Internal Audit
- Good verbal and written communication
