**Your Role and Responsibilities**

The infrastructure running industries likes transportation, energy, insurance, banking or healthcare is quickly changing as the world’s relationship with technology evolves. Companies have more choices than ever before between on-premise, off-premise, or a hybrid approach. Our Infrastructure Specialists are responsible for keeping up with these latest and greatest of these changes and using their expertise to deliver solutions that meet the needs of our customers and products.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

- Ongoing support of the production Enterprise System Management (ESM) environment including;
- Regular configuration of the Monitoring tools (here SCOM) to reflect changes in the environment,
- Platform support of SCOM.
- Regular maintenance activities
- Support tool troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Reporting on consistency and compliance across the monitoring tools
- Fine-tuning and optimization of processes to ensure efficient operations
- Strong Windows Server OS & Linux Server OS Knowledge
- Active Directory Concept knowledge
- Configuring monitoring types and alerts in tools like SCOM 2012, SCOM 2016, SCOM 2019
- Strong SCOM administration knowledge
- Good understanding of monitoring concept, SCOM Management Pack Creation Knowledge
- Good Power shell scripting knowledge
- Basic SQL knowledge

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**

Dashboard creation and updating
- Reporting on consistency and compliance across the monitoring tools
- Analyzing requirements.
- Designing, documenting, developing, and testing MPs adhering to a strict MP Lifecycle and adhering to change management methodology
- Developing monitors, rules, discoveries, diagnostic and/or recovery tasks, views
- Designing, developing, unit testing, and troubleshooting MPs.
- Responsible for providing accurate estimates to facilitate planning processes.
- Working closely with fellow developers, quality engineering, and project teams.
- Strong working knowledge on Windows and Linux Operating systems

**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**

Good Power shell scripting knowledge
