Senior DevOps Infrastructure Leader Position

This Azure Landing Zone platform offers connectivity from corporate networks to resources deployed in Azure through a hub and spoke network topology. Networking is a significant aspect of the perimeter operations.

  • We seek a senior DevOps Infrastructure Leader who will collaborate with network and infrastructure teams to deliver and operate the Landing Zone platform.
  • The successful candidate will be part of the global Landing Zone platform team, responsible for implementing customer requirements and operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with architects to design new features
  • Support technical skill development for team members as Tech lead
  • Remove technical blockers and provide guidance to team members
  • Work closely with Network and Security teams for consistent design and implementation of cybersecurity principles
  • Participate in SCRUM ceremonies and implement new requirements from the backlog
  • Provide consulting services to Application Architects and Product Development Teams
  • Maintain upgrade implementations and automation
  • Consolidate and update documentation/wiki how-to guides

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in implementing Microsoft Azure infrastructure & governance (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
  • Strong experience in provisioning, configuring, and deploying Azure infrastructure, policies, CI/CD pipelines, release management, and IaC
  • Expert-level knowledge of Azure Cloud, including cloud networking, network services, authentication, directory services, and IAM
  • Cloud storage and messaging knowledge, including tools like Github Actions, JIRA, Confluence, Sharepoint, and agile development practices

Qualifications:

  • Certified Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104, AZ-700, AZ-305)
  • 8+ years of relevant experience on Azure DevOps and/or Infrastructure Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience engineering/operating IT Infrastructure solutions in Microsoft Azure
  • IaC experience with Terraform
  • Experience as a Technical Lead for a team
  • Masters or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
  • Agile certification from SAFe and/or SCRUM
