**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and develop **centrifugal** and **submersible pumps** to meet performance, efficiency, and reliability targets
- Perform hydraulic calculations for pump sizing, head, flow rate, and system compatibility
- Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of pump components including impellers, volutes, motor housings, shafts, seals, and bearings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD)
- Generate and maintain **Bills of Materials (BOMs)** and design documentation
- Collaborate with the R&D and testing team to develop prototypes and conduct performance testing and validation
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant standards such as **ISO 9906, API 610, BIS**, etc.
- Address field feedback and service data to improve existing designs and develop upgraded versions
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and procurement to ensure design feasibility and cost-effectiveness
- Support failure analysis, root cause identification, and corrective action implementation for design-related issues

**Key Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- 4-5 years of dedicated experience in designing **centrifugal and submersible pumps**:

- Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, pump hydraulics, and mechanical component design
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, or AutoCAD
- Good knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes (especially casting), tolerances, and surface finishes
- Experience in pump performance testing and validation is highly desirable
- Familiarity with industry standards like ISO, API, BIS, and other relevant norms
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience using FEA/CFD tools for design validation and optimization
- Exposure to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or ERP systems
- Knowledge of sealing systems, motor-pump integration, and vibration analysis

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
