Job Title: Assistant Professor in Biomedical Sciences**Primary Responsibilities**:

- **Teaching**:

- Develop and update course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and exams.
- Provide mentorship to undergraduate and graduate students, guiding their academic progress and research projects.
- Supervise student research, including thesis or dissertation work for graduate students.
- **Research**:

- Conduct original research in the biomedical field, publishing findings in peer-reviewed journals.
- Supervise and mentor research assistants, graduate students, and postdoctoral researchers.
- Contribute to the advancement of knowledge in biomedical sciences by exploring new technologies, medical treatments, or innovative biomedical methods.
- **Academic Service**:

- Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and curriculum development.
- Contribute to accreditation and academic review processes.
- Engage in professional development activities to stay current in the field of biomedical sciences.
- **Collaboration and Networking**:

- Collaborate with other academic departments, external researchers, and industry professionals on interdisciplinary research projects.
- Attend academic conferences and contribute to the academic community through presentations and networking.
- **Student Advising**:

- Advise students on academic progression and career development in biomedical sciences.
- Assist students in selecting research projects and lab placements.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in Biomedical Sciences or a closely related field.
- **Experience**: Prior teaching experience (either as a TA or in a faculty role) is usually required. Experience in research and publications is strongly preferred.
- **Skills**:

- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Expertise in specific areas of biomedical sciences (e.g., molecular biology, physiology, biochemistry, etc.).
- Ability to secure research funding and manage lab resources.
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques and data analysis.

**Work Environment**:

- Typically works in a university or research institute, with opportunities for teaching both in the classroom and laboratory settings.
- Regular interactions with students, faculty members, and researchers.
- Involvement in both independent and collaborative research projects.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
