Solution Architect

MNK Infotech Inc is looking for a **Solution Architect **for its direct clients.

**Location: Mumbai/Kolkata**

**Work Experience: 11 - 15 years**

**_Job Responsibilities: _**
- Providing technical leadership from an architecture perspective.
- Consult with client IT and business representatives to - _Identify and prioritize business problems to address - Propose and scope solutions - Provide thought leadership in the area of Higher education platform development._
- Ability to leverage key enterprise architecture frameworks, TOGAF & Zachman, to deliver tangible benefits assisting business units to achieve objectives.
- Develops and maintains current and target state architectural documents such as Domain roadmaps, Standards, Patterns, referencearchitecture/implementation documents for Enterprise Applications. Develop strategies, roadmaps, standards, and reference architecture/implementation for Enterprise tools.
- Manages activities that take place during solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation.
- Responsible for assisting in the establishment of an IT Architecture practice, and the adoption of an architecture and standards methodology.
- Reviews business context for solutions to company challenges as well as defining the vision and requirements for the solution, recommending potential options, (which may include RFIs, RFPs, or prototype development), selecting the most optimal option, and the development of a roadmap for the selected solution.
- Understands and transforms business requirements into scalable/manageable solution architecture for reliability, scalability, security, and integration.
- Communicates the architecture to the stakeholders and collaborates and coordinates with existing domain architects in the formalization and adoption of IT standards and procedures.
- Directly assists in the development of a solutions architecture program including departmental roadmaps and project portfolios for IT systems architecture.
- Assures solutions not only are a fit for the specific purpose but also closely align with the guidelines of the standard of technology solutions.
- Influences changes to standards when necessary.
- Directs the identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership.
- Develops and executes solutions that further reduce the percentage of time spent on reactive work.
- Ability to thought through the end End-user experience & journey from HE stand point.

**_Qualification / Skills: _**
- **3-4 years as a senior technical consultant and/or solution architect**:

- 2 years as a technical development lead
- Hands-on development experience in multiple programming languages that may include Java, C#, JavaScript and SQL
- Project management experience is a nice-to-have
- Able to perform data analysis and develop data models
- Able to lead and/or develop POCs and able to lead JAD sessions
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail regarding the education domain
- Ability to work under indirect supervision
- Broad understanding of information technology topics
- Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative management style to include teamwork and team building ability
- Comfortable with ambiguity and time spent outside of the comfort zone acquiring new skills
- Flexible in a fast-paced dynamic environment with shifting roles and responsibilities
- Excellent English oral and written communication, including diagraming
- Technically creative and open-minded

**_Experience Requirements: _**
- Consulting experience preferred
- Experience implementing, extending, and/or integrating with Moodle or Totara highly desirable
- Experience integrating with SAP and/or Salesforce preferred
- Should have extensive work exp. On Azure or AWS Cloud
- Should have education/learning system implementation exp.
- Good Understanding of Content Management platforms
- Good understanding of at least one Learning Management system (Blackboard, BrightSpace, Canvas)
- Demonstrated ability to communicate the complexities of technical programs
- Proficiency with information technologies in a secure network environment.
