The Academic Counsellor plays a vital role in guiding students through their educational journey and career choices. This position involves evaluating students' academic needs, suggesting suitable courses, assisting with the admissions process, and promoting overall student success.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-on-one academic and career counselling to empower students in making well-informed decisions.
- Assist in academic planning, course selection, and navigating university policies.
- Support the admissions and enrollment process by ensuring accurate documentation and timely submissions.
- Plan and facilitate workshops, seminars, and orientation sessions focused on academic growth and career development.
- Stay updated on academic programs, admission criteria, scholarship opportunities, and industry trends.
- Monitor student progress and offer necessary interventions, resources, or referrals to additional support services.

**Required Skills**:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective student support.
- Understanding of educational pathways, career planning, and university admissions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to guide students in their decision-making process.
- Demonstrated empathy, patience, and confidentiality in addressing student concerns.
- Proficiency with student information systems, databases, and office software.
