The Content and Marketing Solutions team at The Economist Group, develops and executes bespoke content-driven and marketing programmes that solve our clients’ marketing challenges in an innovative way using the full range of The Economist Group’s resources including advertising, social media and events.

Reporting to the Creative Director, the Studio Designer will assist in the development of compelling ideas and visuals for sales materials, content programs and promotional materials for The Economist Group and its offerings. This role will involve partnering with global teams across The Economist Group Media Businesses and working heavily in Adobe Creative Suite.

**Accountabilities**:
**How you will contribute**:

- Collaborate across a variety of internal teams to understand project requirements and achieve deliverables
- Work in Adobe Creative Suite and other applicable systems to produce final designs (e.g. presentations, banners, user interfaces, websites)
- Provide day-to-day design recommendations for client programs
- Have a strong creative vision and relentlessly elevate the output of the design team
- Quickly grasp and sublimate concepts and actively participate in brainstorms

**Experience, skills and professional attributes**:
**The ideal skills for this role are**:

- Up to three years of experience as a Junior Designer
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite focusing on InDesign, Photoshop and XD
- Understanding of both digital and traditional design
- Understanding of visual design (user experience, color theory, layout, type and fonts, hierarchy )
- A keen eye for detail
- Creativity skills and problem-solving aptitude
